Uterine Fibroids: Treatment, Symptoms and Causes

Uterine fibroids are without cancerous enlargement of the uterus that sometimes emerges at the time of pregnancy years. It is also known as myomas and leiomyomas.   • Subserosal fibroids: This type of fibroid spread out ahead of the wall of the uterus and develops within the exterior tissue lining of the uterus. They can grow into pedunculated fibroids in which fibroid has shadow and it can grow enormously.

Surgeons are not aware of the reasons for uterine fibroids, but study and clinical expertise have come to the conclusion with these factors-

Extracellular matrix (ECM)- ECM is the substance that compels cells to attach together. When ECM grows in fibroids then it can make them fibrous. ECM also has growth features and reasons biological transformation in the cells themselves.

Fibroids obtain excessive progesterone receptors and estrogen than usual uterine muscle cells perform. Fibroids generally get reduced in size after menopause because of reducing in hormone formation.
