Women with MRKH are born without a uterus or have an underdeveloped uterus, and in some cases, the vaginal canal might also be absent or incomplete. This syndrome is named after the four doctors who first described the condition in the 19th and early 20th centuries.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Types_of_MRKH_Syndrome\"><\/span><span id=\"Types_of_MRKH_Syndrome\">Types of MRKH Syndrome<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>MRKH Syndrome can be divided into two types:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type I MRKH Syndrome:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the classic form, where the woman has an absent or underdeveloped uterus, and the vaginal canal might also be absent or incomplete.
